Paje handed over a 60% increase in confirmed business from the same time the previous year to the new Head of Sales giving her 70% of the year’s target already confirmed and an extremely healthy pipeline enabling them to hit their full target in time for Formula1.
The Conference Agency telesales campaign generated a list of over 90 agencies interested in viewing the venue or having a sales manager present to them at their offices. Our Agency Sales Manager contacted them all and was able to cover 20 appointments and handover a further 30 scheduled agency presentations.
Eighteen months later when the previously appointed Head of Sales decided to progress her career further Judi Oliver was able to come in again as Interim Head of Sales to seamlessly ‘hold the fort’ until we could recruit the right person. She assisted with the recruitment of some new roles within the team as well as the new Head of Sales and was asked to stay on to help stabilise the team due to other changes within the business, also offering Marketing support whilst the new Head of Sales settled in to their new role.
